With over 20 years of experience working with third parties in the sponsorship, tenanting and marketing industry, Lisa Onopa retired as Director, OP Account Management for Disney.

Prior to her departure, Lisa led a team managing relationships with retailers, food and beverage companies, hotel owners and operators and entertainment companies operating a business at the Walt Disney World Resort.  She was integral in the redevelopment of Disney Springs, a multi-million dollar expansion to the former Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort.  Lisa also spent a year working with key tenants and leading the Shanghai based team developing leases for the opening of Disneytown at Shanghai Disney Resort in China.

Lisa joined Disney 20 years ago after relocating from Chicago.  She spent the early part of her Disney career in financial planning and reporting, but quickly realized that her passion was developing relationships and working with third parties to enhance and grow their business.  Since that time Lisa held a variety of roles at Disney within Epcot Business Development, Alliance Development, Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants.  She has worked with over 150 different corporate partners and tenants representing Fortune 500 organizations, foreign governments, small trade organizations and privately held companies.

Prior to joining Disney, Lisa worked for Deloitte in Chicago as part of the Tax Department’s Real Estate team.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington and, in addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, is an avid college basketball fan.

Lisa and her husband Chris reside in Windermere, Florida.

I'm excited to be part of the Leadership Crucible Foundation's efforts to develop great leaders through the sharing of stories and lessons learned from those who have walked through the fire and faced their own defining moments.  Being part of something that can impact peoples lives in a positive and meaningful way is so critical in today's often divided and competitive world.  I'm honored to be able to do my small part to pay it forward to help those future leaders of whom we can all be proud.
